Welcome, I’m Storme Whitby-Grubb
I’ve spent 25+ years making creative and marketing decisions where the stakes were high
I built my career inside music, entertainment, and culture. From living in Reykjavik and working inside its music scene as a teenager, to co-founding a live touring company and managing artists including Frightened Rabbit and We Are Scientists, to creative directing Lana Del Rey's world tour content, to serving as Chief Creative Officer at Red Bull Records. The through line across all of it: leading creative and marketing campaigns where timing, taste, and execution were fast paced and high stakes.
I’ve spent years building connection to real audiences, turning attention into engagement, and engagement into loyalty through creative marketing, positioning, and storytelling across all mediums.
From building visual worlds for global artists to shaping partnerships and campaigns with companies like Apple, Amazon, and Red Bull, the work has always been about more than great ideas. At the heart of any great partnership, campaign, or story, is a strategy that can hold it, judgement, and making the right call.
Today, I apply that same lens to founders building lifestyle brands, creative businesses, and cultural companies.
Alongside my advisory work, I’m building Wild Duchess, my own Women’s ‘Outside’ brand across experiences, partnerships, and place which keeps me close to the reality of building something from the ground up.
I’m based in Los Angeles, but recently renovated and developed my flagship location Wild Duchess - Somerset, a 19th Century Watermill tucked away in the English countryside, that I return to when I can. I am a big fan of getting unplugged and out into nature with my horses and dog, which is much needed as I build this portfolio life away from the C-Suite.
I love working with smart people, solving complex creative problems, especially when the stakes are high. There’s no better feeling than helping a founder find that ‘click’ they were reaching for with their strategy.
If you’re at a point where something feels unclear, or the next move matters more than usual, that’s usually where I’m most useful.
